Armada Kimonos – Return & Refund Policy (New Zealand)

At Armada Kimonos, we stand by the quality of our gear. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help. This policy applies to all purchases made through armadakimonos.com and applies within New Zealand.


1. Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA)

All products sold by Armada Kimonos are covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This means you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is faulty, unsafe, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description or advertised features.


2. Returns for Faulty or Defective Items

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect or fault:

  • Contact us at support@armadakimonos.com within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Provide your order number and clear photos/videos of the issue.

  • We will assess the issue and provide either a replacement, repair, or full refund, depending on the situation.

  • If the item is confirmed faulty, we will cover return shipping costs.


3. Change-of-Mind Returns

We accept change-of-mind returns on most unused products, subject to the following conditions:

  • You must contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, unwashed, unworn, and in original packaging, with all tags attached.

  • For hygiene reasons, tapes, compression garments, and rash guards that have been opened or tried on cannot be returned unless faulty.

  • Return shipping for change-of-mind returns is the responsibility of the customer.

  • Once the item is received and inspected, we will issue a refund or store credit (your choice).

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • Armada Kimonos reserves the right to refuse items returned after the 14 day grace period. We suggest all returns or exchanges are sent via recordable or trackable means as we take no responsibility for returns or exchanges lost in transit.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items (unless faulty) or gift cards.

4. Exchanges

If you want to exchange an item for a different size or style:

  • Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • The item must meet the same conditions as in our change-of-mind policy.

  • Exchange shipping (return + new delivery) is at the customer’s cost unless the product was faulty.


5. Incorrect or Missing Items

If something is missing or you received the wrong item:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • We’ll arrange a replacement at no extra cost.


6. How to Start a Return

Email support@armadakimonos.com with:

  • Your order number

  • The item you want to return or exchange

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

We’ll respond within 2–3 business days with instructions and a return address.


7. Processing Time

Once we receive your return, please allow 3–5 business days for inspection and up to 5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.


8. Sale Items

Sale or clearance items can be returned only if faulty. No change-of-mind returns apply.
